Though I'd spent a few days in Mexico City on a layover years ago, my last trip of 2022 to Baja California Sur was nothing short of magical. Fresh seafood and white sand beaches with views of migrating whales took me by surprise before solidifying BCS as another top destination on my list. The additional presence of my family during the holidays in such a beautiful place made the trip all that more special.
